A member of the prestigious Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, she earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and continued her nursing education at South University in Savannah, Georgia, where she completed a master’s degree, a Doctorate in Nursing from Chatham University, and a psychiatric mental health APRN specialty from Liberty University in Virginia.

A passion for “everything beauty and fashion” led Ujay to open Gladics Wellness + Beauty and Gladics Mental Health, where she is committed to helping clients look and feel their best. Her commitment to clients, combined with a broad background in emergency, acute care, inpatient, outpatient, home health, and governmental healthcare settings, makes her uniquely suited to provide top-notch services to her patients.

While pursuing her education, Ujay balanced the roles of wife to her husband and mother to her three beautiful children and provided unlimited support to her friends and family. Since 2011, she has worked in various hospitals, clinics, home health care, and government healthcare settings.

Chinwe Ugochukwu is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner

My name is Chinwe Ugochukwu, APRN, PMHNP-BC. I am a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner who is qualified to practice in psychiatry; diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication for children, adolescents, and adults. Some of my practice specialties include (but not limited to) ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Post traumatic stress disorder, Panic.Attacks and Insomnia, psychotic disorders and other mood disorders.

My style of practice can be traditional (prescribing up to date psychiatric medications) or alternative medicine (natural treatments including but not limited to vitamins, supplements, lifestyle modification, nutrition, exercise and stress management). I believe in holistic and individualized care because the mind/body/spiritual are connected and we are all human but unique to our own being. Humans are made whole not in parts just as Hippocrates “The Father of Medicine.”

I began my career as a registered nurse after my Graduation in November of 2009 as ADN. I received a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from Grand Canyon university in 2015. I began my graduate studies at Walden University and received a Masters Degree as a Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatric Mental Health. I am a board-certified Nurse Practitioner.

I have worked and volunteered in most areas of medical practice including telemetry, neuro, medical-surgical units, ortho, correctional health and psychiatry. I found my passion in Psychiatry while working in correctional health. Most of my experiences with adults. However, I enjoy working with all age groups .My hobbies include traveling, adventuring, snuggling with my family and giving back to my community through volunteer work.
